Tuesday's decision on the anti-gay amendment is devastating to the youth, trans, and otherwise queer people of our community not just because we will have to continue to endure the prioritization of marriage over our more pressing issues such as the epidemic of homelessness among our youth, but we'll also have to endure the uptake in violence initiated by the anti-gay campaigns of the radical right.
