Fierce, fabulous, and queer as fuck! Amazing highlights from the pageant included a fabulous Barbasol inspired hairstyle by James St. James. Who doesn't love shaving cream mohawks? A crude, lewd, stand up shtick by Sandra Bernhardt, and a revealing, unforgettable step down performance by Raya Light, where a montage of provoking questions were attached to pictures of angelic babies. My favorite showed a cherubic nude baby and posed the question: "Will you teach me to be ashamed of my body?"
Other stand outs numbers included: Dolly's 9 to 5 performed with a full fleet of dancers, a show stopping back up gospel choir, and a gorgeous, over the top, in all the right ways, Marie Antoinette costume.

For those who thought the cancelling of Halloween festivities in the Castro meant SF was starting to button up, go to the place where more is actually MORE. In fact, it's the new black...with glitter.
Be there for the coronation of the 2007 winner. Vive Trannyshack!

Interesting that they are doing this on National Transgender Day of Remembrance...
The "Marie Antoinette" number you refer to was actually Elizabeth the 1st.
